Plant Hire Terms and Conditions
As a member of the Hire Association of Europe, all of our equipment is hired under our approved, ‘General Conditions of Hire For Hiring of Equipment’. We integrated this tool hire agreement into our tool hire services to ensure this crucial code of practice is being followed at all times. A copy of our plant hire terms and conditions are printed on the reverse of each hire contract and delivery note. At PSM Hire, we aim to make all of our plant hire terms and conditions clear from the very start. Customers can rest assured that they will be aware of all of the necessary information in the tool hire agreement before any hire is undertaken. Plant Hire Rates
All prices quoted in our brochure are exclusive of VAT. Prices are subject to review at any time without prior notice. Plant hire rates are based on one day as 24 hours, and one week as seven days. Extra days thereafter are charged at one seventh of the weekly rate. At PSM Hire, we charge for all time out, including weekends and public holidays.
Delivery & Collection Service
Plant hire rates do not include delivery or collection, however, a fast delivery and collection service is available at a small extra charge.
A deposit is required from non account customers on each item hired, amounts according to the value of equipment.
Payment can be made by cash, Debit or Credit card* *Commercial Credit cards will incur a 4% surcharge on deposit only.
Three forms of identification will be required from non account customers, showing photo, name, address and a current date within the last 6 months.
One form of ID from each group, A, B and C.

Applications for a trading account from companies who wish to use our services regularly are most welcome, please ask for an account application form. Payment terms are strictly 30 days net from the end of month.
The hirer is responsible for insurance against all risks, safe keeping of any equipment hired and to ensure that our equipment is properly used.
Our opening hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am -5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am -12.00pm
In the interest of safety, we strongly recommend the use of the appropriate safety equipment, a full range is available in our hire centres.
